Learn about famous drummers
Famous drummers are famous for a reason. The cool thing is that different drummers have different opinions as to who plays better than who. There are many genres of music out there and each of these drummers contribute to their field of music. But who is the best? Who is the best in your mind?
Most of us have drummers that have become our hero's. We watch their drum solos, buy their Dvd's, and possibly even go to their concerts. We try to do what we can to become like our drumming hero! These People Made It To The Top!
Here are the few that I have chosen. To me their drumming is just awesome! But like I said...it's my opinion. Do you have an opinion? Thomas Lang came out with drum dvds such as Creative Control and Creative Coordination from Hudson. This guy is a monster of talent! I bought Creative Control and I was totally blown away. He has amazing speed and plays like 5 different pedals! He does crazy stick tricks to. He started playing at the age of 5 and is now well known all around the world. He is an independent drummer and a native to Austria. In creative control he played a Sonor Delight Series with a white sparkle finish! It was gorgeous. He plays Sonor! Mike Portnoy
Next up for me is Mike Portnoy! He had one drum set that he called the Siamese Monster because it was so big! Drum heroes can influence your playing style. He has one CD out called Liquid Tension, he is playing paradigm shift off of that CD. Talk about amazing, amazing talent on that CD for all of the instrument players! 
Gene Krupa has a Signature Series Slingerland drum set after his name! He is a master drummer of the old times and is remembered today for his greatness!

Carter Beauford
Carter Beauford plays for The Dave Matthews Band and his playing is great! He definitely is in the famous drummers hall of fame. He has got style like not many drummers do. His placements on the hi-hat, accents all over the kit are just wow! He really plays an important role in The Dave Matthews band. I really like this drummer!
Neil Peart
Neil Peart came out with the DVD " Anatomy of a drum solo." He's got some serious talent that we all can learn from. I admire his skill. He loves motorcycles and is an excellent, excellent drummer. Joey Jordison
