Professional Drum Sets
Professional drum sets are made for drummers who are advanced and professional but of course any of us could get one if we wanted to.
My dream professional set would be the Sonor Delight Series that Thomas Lang played on his dvd Creative Control. It sounded so amazing and had an awesome wrap finish to it. It was White Sparkle...Phew!
A professional set is a set that has left the beginner drum set way back in the dust. It is made from much finer things such as its wood choices for shells.
Consider the difference between a beginner drum set and a professional one like you using a moped versus using a Lexus...yes that about covers the difference. One gets you by and the other one is just plain awesome.
* Awesome( and sometimes customizable) shells like maple, african bubinga, birch, exotic woods, special metals, acrylic etc.
* Excellent durable hardware with their bass drum pedals, cymbals stands, hi-hat stands and their drum thrones.
* Great finishes or wraps to top off their beauty.
Here are the professional sets that are out there today
Keep in mind when your looking for professional sets that some of them only come in shell packs. Meaning no hardware.
This one is a Pearl Reference. I can't stress the sound on this one besides "wow." Pearl uses its absolute best hardware on this kit.

This one is a Trick OCC made by Trick.
When learning how to play the drums, it's also important to know how to pick your drum sets.

This one is a Ludwig Legacy Classic.
